They were just saying on Gardeners Question Time that things in the garden are about three weeks early this year.

I guess it is due to the mild but wet spring but we may pay for it with an early autumn.

Maybe a prolonged one as well,the sea out in the western approaches is very warm at the moment,so a mild winter in store? who knows.

The wind's blowing a houli at the moment, thanks to the tail end of Hurricane Bertha!

I love the colours of Autumn, but am always sad to see the swallows and martins line up on the telegraph wires - a sure sign that Autumn's on its way.

Not too mild Barrie too many pests this year we need a bit of cold to keep them in check .
