They were just saying on Gardeners Question Time that things in the garden are about three weeks early this year.

I guess it is due to the mild but wet spring but we may pay for it with an early autumn.

The wind's blowing a houli at the moment, thanks to the tail end of Hurricane Bertha!

I love the colours of Autumn, but am always sad to see the swallows and martins line up on the telegraph wires - a sure sign that Autumn's on its way.

My swallow who nests over the back door has only just hatched her second brood, wonder if they will make it to S. Africa?
