ID Reqd.

Wonder if any of you green fingered types might be able to ID this flowering shrub thats self seeded in my garden.

About 5 feet tall, but one in the patch along the road is twice that size. It does seem to attract bees so ive let it be for the moment.

Any help gratefully received.

Yes it is Lycestria, we call it pheasant berries in this part of the world. It will seed itself all over everywhere! By the way, Prince Charles has one in his garden, so you're in good company.

Thanks everyone, no longer a mystery its seeded from over 35 yds away. Will make sure it does not get too big a hold.

I used to have one years ago but like so many lovely shrubs I managed to kill it off in time
