Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I'm OK - I bought a new kettle which saves me the hassle of boiling a pan of water just to make coffee. I think I had 5 days of that and eventually bought one from Tesco. I bought some food, too, mostly healthy, lots of fruit and muesli.

I'm OK, really, just a bit overwhelmed by the number of appointments I've got coming up; but they are necessary.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

My boiler broke down again a mere 3 weeks after the last time...it's not an old boiler so I was a bit stumped. Luckily the engineer/plumber came out by 1 and fixed it.

I then had a nice long, hot bath.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

So I've got the first of my appointments tomorrow morning. They will take blood, general obs and perhaps an ECG. Then a general talk, I suppose about how I've been (not good) and the verdict on whether I'm fit enough for surgery. The biopsy (a week tomorrow) will be under general anaesthetic and I'm not sure if they'll keep me in overnight (I hope they do).

I'm not nervous about tomorrow though. I've got to bring in all my medications with me.

Stupid modern boilers, they are worse than the old ones!

You are in my thoughts and prayers for tomorrow. Please try hard to think positive and trust God.
