Birthday break

Had a lovely Birthday break in Cambridge, only went for 2 nights...saw my daughter & her parteners new house, had a meal out & mooched in shops...but best of all was my daughters company!

Hi sweep

Have you visited both Oxford and Cambridge, which one do you prefer?

I have only briefly passed through Cambridge but have stayed in or near Oxford a number of times, great place.

York is also well worth a visit if you like older buildings.

Only Cambridge as our Daughter lives there.......Oxford is definately on the adgenda at some point
