It was, I guess you'd call it my house soup: not quite minestrone. Beans, onions, carrots, celery, tomatoes, split peas, lentils, barley, garlic. small pasta shapes (shells), corn, in chicken stock. Some ham if I have any.

That sounds lovely (apart from the meat), I must try and find the time to make some soup.

It's good without the ham too. Other than soaking the beans overnight it doesn't take much time to prep and cook.

Just had a chicken tandoori masala and nan bread, very nice it was too, Asda do really nice ones made on the premises, luverly juberly.

I was told that Asda curry's weren't very nice, maybe they have changed the recipe. I will have to give them a go if there are any without chicken in them!
