A Question of Trust.

Hi

The G7 has not been great for Boris.

He signed a deal he negotiated, the NI Protocol and is now renaging on it.

This does not inspire trust amongst others.

Re: A Question of Trust.

I should research that statement, I think it was May that negotiated it.

Hi

Nope, May refused that deal because of the problems, Boris gave in and signed it.

There is not a politician on this planet whom you can trust! They lose any integrity they may have had the minute they are elected.

Re: A Question of Trust.

Trust though is a two way street as is fair play amongst equals, which is something the EU is not very good at. Northern Ireland was always designed to be a stick to beat us with.

So though in retrospect the agreement in it's current form should probably not have been signed, the agreement wouldn't be a problem in itself if everyone showed pragmatism and flexibility, which is also a two way street, and if, truthfully, everyone was sincere in wanting to uphold the peace in Northern Ireland then it is the responsibility of both parties to show this in abundance.

The best way to maintain peace in Ulster is to keep Eire the hell out.

Rump Ulster is not. Rump ulster is ON the island of Ireland but is NOT a part of Eire.

Rump is used to identify a part of a country or thing.

Re: A Question of Trust.

Well Macron has just suggested to Boris that everybody knows
that NI is not really part of UK ??
Perhaps Boris should have suggested that Emanuel goes to NI and
tells that to them to their face ??

Donkeyman! 👎🤔🤔👎

LOL! If he were to do that somewhere like Ballymena the next anyone would hear about him would be in recipes for how to cook and serve French scrag in a variety of ways!
