I keep it on the shelving unit in my gym/playroom.

I don't know what it is but I think it looks quite realistic.

If you hadnít of said it was faux, I would never have known, I hear Ikea are known for their realistic faux plants, looking forward to going there soon.

Re: Faux Plants or Flowers

Your faux plants look very nice Pauline. I wasn't a fan until lockdown but they do some very real looking ones these days.

I love having a bouquet of fresh cut flowers. Usually tulips when in season. Or long-stem roses when not. Very uplifting. They generally last all week.

I used to love dried flowers but I found it annoying there's no way to get the dust off. At least with the faux version you don't end up destroying the look of them when you clean them.

Thanks Annie...very true about dried flowers, what do you think of these Orchids?
Excuse the mess on my chest of drawers,Iím busy cleaning this bedroom.

I too was not a fan of faux flowers or plants years ago, but nowadays they look so real....look at the one Carol posted.

I love cut roses as well...always cut the end stems at an angle, otherwise the heads go over, do you find that?

I think it's impossible to tell the difference with orchids. A lovely combination you have there!

I don't mind fake flowers, don't like real cut flowers, they die & drop all over the place. Fakes can be run under the tap if they get dusty also & they don't smell of decay.

Re: Faux Plants or Flowers

I can't abide faux flowers on graves in the Churchyard. I've warned my family that if they put any on my grave I'll come back to haunt them.

Having said that, some of the ones pictured are super - perhaps I'll invest for the house.

Sweet sue, be warned, I left that fern to gather dust, it was a snowstorm affect, when I eventually cleaned / washed.

I must say I too donít like seeing those plastic flowers on graves, especially after being there for years. with all the fading where the sun has been beating down on them...all the elements of the weather take a toll on them.
