A subtle hint

This Christmas I rather fancy spending it with Veronica and her tribe(no not all of Zimbabwe) just Mimi and any of her other 3 children who may be around.

But money is tight for V just now so I say-OK I will buy the turkey-you cook it.

Oh thank you but I have never cooked a turkey before.

She left my house today with my copy of Delia Smith`s book on Cooking for Christmas

Cooking a turkey isn't difficult Stephan remind Veronica to cook it with the breast down except for the last hour or so.
(I don't eat turkey but have cooked many) .

I think you should be at hand there - just to be sure all goes well

Ive never had to cook a turkey in my whole life...so I wouldnt be confident in the outcome either Delia Smith at hand or not ...I would cook it but at your own risk you could eat it lol

It's just a big roast chicken really never understand why people get worried by them. As has been said cook it breast side down until near the end.

Hope you have a lovely time OG and the turkey is tender for you all.

I don't know why they make such a fuss over a Turkey OG, I've seen the wife do it dozens of times, they just stuff it with stuff and flop it on a cooking tray then bang it in the oven for a few hours, simple.

You are right Jem, easy nowadays, different to when we used to shove a stick through it and turn it over an open fire.
