Photography Crystal Ball

I'm thinking of getting one of these crystal balls to mess around with when I take photos. Have any of you got one? I could do with some advice as to what size is best and how to use them. For those of you who don't know what I'm on about here is a cracking pic taken with one.

That's a lovely picture, Roxy.
Love the way the light shines through the ball.

Re: Photography Crystal Ball

Here's a better result with a crystal ball. Use a big aperture to blur the background subject. The pic in the ball with appear upside down, rotate the whole thing.

Re: Photography Crystal Ball

That should make some interesting photos. I bought this glass pyramid a while ago. Not with photography in mind but it could be worth an experiment or two..

This crystal ball effect was done digitally..

Blimey! It's massive. How are you going to carry that around?
