Re: The Sister

I thought it was a good story but the main actor (sorry don't know his name) was out of his depth he seemed to have just one gormless expression on his face whatever the situation maybe that's what the director wanted but I wanted to give him a good shake....the last scene when he was driving the car home was underplayed too so easy to miss just as the titles came up. A bit disappointing all round.

Re: The Sister

Followed it through. The main character got out of the situation but will be haunted. It seems the paranormal bloke did create a ghost after all ..or maybe the haunting will always be in the mind.

A dark and moody production, not always easy to follow but not bad.

Re: The Sister

A pleasant enough series with the sole complaint that it was dragged out waaaaay too long. We can all identify programs with multilayered and complex plots that take 2 hours to play out, and even some of these are too lengthy (and hence lose audience interest). Try watching some of the first few episodes of Morse as an example!!

4 hours over 4 nights was grossly excessive IMHO, but this seems to be an increasing trend nowadays.

Re: The Sister

There seem to have been a few series that have been built up because of the shortage of new programmes being made during lockdown. I can’t believe that Luminaries stuff would ever have seen the light of day in a normal period.
