Bummer. He was a really funny guy. Losing the good ones and the bad ones are hanging around just too long

How sad .....

John was always (far too) brilliant in "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", excellent in "Porterhouse Blue", hilarious in "Stella Street" and profoundly apologetic in "QI", where demonstrated his effortless memory of the birth and death dates of various historical figures but described the knowledge of such facts as "a sickness" ......

The last thing I saw him in was Outlander where he played an over the top, farting, Arthur Duncan. very funny.
