Des O’Conner was one of the favourites, that my mother always put her teeth in for and combed her hair when they were on television. She did the same for Hughie Green!

An entertainer of the good old days, one of my favourites.

I went to see him at the Hippodrome, enjoyed even minute!

A decent sort of chap and the butt of many a joke but he always took it in good humour. Another proper entertainer gone and I don't think these people are being replaced by any new talent which is a shame.
