I watch though find it almost unbearable, as the widow of a career soldier it brings back too many memories.
I am in awe of the families who take part, I couldn't do it.
The whole event is always so beautifully organised and a credit to all involved.
I watched the service as usual.
The event that was most poignant for me this year was the interview with Harry Billinge on BBC earlier this week.
If you haven't seen this, please watch this great man's memories of serving in the forces and the new memorial he has been so instrumental in making happen.
He is amazing isn't he, Muddy. His interview there summed up the whole service for me this year. I hope he is able to experience a few more Remembrance parades before he passes on.
