A few pictures from Mainz
I didn't take a lot of photos while in Mainz, but here are a few to be going on with.The city centre hasn't changed much, but there are loads of new apartments, 'top end' car dealerships etc in the suburbs.
Through the city, a lot of the ancient Roman buildings are being excavated for display.
Roman theatre with modern snow.
Augustinerstrasse in the city centre. Cobbled streets and half timbered buildings.
The edge of the Christmas market with cathedral in background.
Barge on the Rhine with campsite where we've stayed on occasions in background.
