A short break in Kent.

Last week Tony & I went on a coach trip to Margate in Kent. The main purpose was to visit some internet friends who live at Ramsgate.
We had a bit of sun but it rained a lot too... Unfortunately the rain forced us indoors (to a pub) lol

All went well until the last day (Thurs) when Tony developed really bad pain in his foot. We had to miss the outing to Canterbury which I had been looking forward to and instead I took him to A&E in a taxi. He has an infection in his middle toe that's spread to his foot. He's on antibiotics but still in a lot of pain. He's using two crutches to walk on...
Anyway we're home now - not happy about finding my freezer broken and the contents a soggy mess but I guess it's just one of those things.

A great pub and restaurant across the road from lifeboat station and Bleak House overlooking Viking Bay, lovely place Broadstairs, loads to do and fantastic "loop bus service" which runs around the isle if you don't want to drive.

Photos look really good. Sorry to read about Tony's infection in his toe. Nasty. Also you were unlucky to find your freezer had broken.
