What is this sea creature?

Can anyone identify this sea creature please? There were lots of them, glistening in the sunshine, on the waters edge as the tide came in at Runswick Bay, North Yorkshire.

Is it a baby jelly fish, or similar creature?

I would guess they are jellyfish CC, they are occasionally to be found on the Yorkshire coast.

It looks like the kind of thing we used to get in our small nets as kids at the seaside, tiny little shiny things, we used to call them 'Snot Fish' but I don't know the proper name of them.
