Kambrook MealMaster Mini

If you live alone this is a brilliant device. I also take it with me when travelling with my camper. Only uses about 200watts and cost about $31 (£15), it comes with a plactic rice spoon and measuring cup.

It is sort of a mini rice cooker but you can use it for so much else:

Poach or boil eggs
Cook soup
Heat or reheat food (tinned or Frozen)
Make meals

I use a small stainless steel bowl (from a $2 shop) placed on top of the rice to heat other ingredients while rice is cooking. Wouldn't be without it, so small and convenient.

The handle is a great feature because you can carry it to and from a camp kitchen if you use one.

The lid dismantles easily to clean (just needs a wipe to remove steam residue) and the bowl is (like most rice cookers) non stick. Has all the safety features of a rice cooker - ie turns off the heater when the water runs dry

I wish.

It's owned by Breville (another Australian company) but they sell world wide - All 'Made in China' of course.

Looks similar to my multicooker Bruce it's brilliant I rarely put the cooker hobs on to cook vegetables as it steams brilliantly, stews fabulously and rice pudding is a marvel. I am told you can make a cake in it but haven't attempted that yet.
I make vegetarian dog recipes in it too and that is so much easier.
