Ah! another connoisseur of the Peter Green era.

Did you know that John Paul Jones wrote the Black Dog riff after studying the Oh Well song structure? Or we could talk about Eurovision.

Take it seriously? Does anybody? Saying an entry is ridiculous is like saying Marilyn Monroe was a woman, the Eurovision song contest is supposed to be rediculous.

It is shown on SBS here so it's entire audience either doesn't speak English or was expecting to watch soccer and thus could be fitted in Betoota's community hall.

Most definitely d00d, I was eighteen when Fleetwood Mac were doing some of their good stuff....
I didn't know that about John Paul Jones, but I do know it was another of my all time favourites....And still is!

That's what I like about coming on the forum, sometimes a thread takes on a life of it's own and produces some very happy memories......

If you see her outfit at the beginning, she has a 'hooked cross' on the front of her garment. That is a attributed to the Military Order of the Knights Templar and said to represents what the Templars saw as a “New Trinity:” Father, Mother, Daughter–Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and Sarah, the daughter. ( so is Madonna symbolising herself and crown with Mary, mother of Jesus ?)
The same 'hooked cross' is said to be connected to Freemasonry .

The armoury style costumes clearly sent message of medieval battle, and a period of the Knights Templars along with medieval Cistercian monks.

Haven't got a clue what the pillars were about or the girlies in white , or Madonna's symbol on her dress, but it almost certainly meant something.

Girlies in white could represent angels, as the others all seemed to fall to their doom.

Complex woman !

Just read that Madam X is her new alter-ego and new album.

That's all folks..
You got all that?? I just saw an out of tune singer.

Wearing eye patches as a fashion statement is old hat, Gabrielle did it back in the 1990s.

They said she wasn't well, had conjunctivitus, which can be very painful. I agree she didn't sing well.

And pirates Although I have read that pirates sometimes wore an eye patch, not because of injury but because it meant they had one eye acclimatised to the light above deck and one eye covered so they could see better below deck. Particularly useful when swashbuckling.
