I notice those figures are based on a 37 year old female, DM

It's supposed to be really good for you.
Moves any and every muscle and uses your brain as well
I'd like to do it too - the poncey indoor one, with safety harness, not in the open air on a mountain

OK. Today I did an hour cleaning then took the dogs out for 2 and a half hours then did the washing and tidied up and cooked the dinner. And made lots of tea for the guy who`s painting my house. And as a reward I sat down with a packet of Garibaldis and read my book.
I reckon that`s about even. You only need to be fit enough for the life you live, after all.

Fitness or getting fit is'nt about pushing yourself to the limits, take it easy to begin with, it should be enjoyable and non-competitive, I see joggers every day punishing themselves in pouring rain, to me that's not what it's all about.

When I saw that, I thought it would be even more calories. If I'm going to fall, I'll fall off a real mountain not a wall I can say that because I would never do that but admire someone if they would for the calories

Painting is very good at burning up calories, it's one of the toughest jobs there is, especially painting ceilings.

Like Mr Mugawi said in the Karate Kid, . . . stroke up, . stroke down.
