The world still rushes past
As if it couldn’t last
Did I just get a call
Or was that an echo fall?
The world once canvas clear
Looks like Picasso austere
Can’t recognize the scenes
They’ve pulled across the screens
Did I once paint all that
As I rushed past with laughs
A dab here, there, how queer
I thought my mind so clear?
Ah well they say when having fun
We forget to count the sum
The last has left the scenes
The oil dried up in dreams
