Safe jobs

Are there any safe jobs anymore?, years ago people could say they they had 'A job for life' and could feel safe in that knowledge, but under the present circumstances nothing is safe, not even the military. Apart from the Queen and the Pope I dont know any other 'Jobs for life', do you?.
