This is particularly down to the SDP and Ian Blackford who weekly, at Prime Ministers Questions, asks the same question. He has done for the last 12 months and continues to bat on and on about it. He gets that same answer every week, but as Scotland do not want to leave the EU, then it's the SDP who should be calling another referendum for Scotland in the near future. They got a negative last time, so maybe they can come up with an alternative result next time.
It's also an oddity that although he constantly refers to the Government of having a bad deal and it's not worth the paper it's written on and they should have had something in the pipeline before the referendum..... Scotland didn't have any ' agenda ' in place prior to their own referendum on whether to stay or leave the rest of Britain.
Let them break away and stay in the EU, but have they got anything in place for such ? Doubt it very much.
We don't want a second referendum, and neither do we need one. We voted out.... with all the warts and all.. End of and it should be honoured.
Whatever you think of the deciveness of your HoC, they have brains. They recognized the risks of a no deal (probably informed confidentially) and ruled to make clear they don't want a no deal brexit.
Several mp's have been to brussels, met barnier, got an earful, and returned a lot wiser. Slowly the HoC is leaving the matter of brexit and returns what they do best, infighting, party politics and in general, doing nothing.
