Democracy???
You get to vote for your MP. That MP is usually a member of one of the two main parties. He sits in the house of commons - sometimes. But look at the number of empty seats.

When a bill is being voted on, he is told which way to vote. Obey the party line whatever his own views are or those of his constituents.

Democracy???
