Re: In these days of miracle and wonder...

I've been saying this for ages.....
We buy all our stuff from China or other countries, while our own workforce has got nothing to do. Amazon is taking over the world and will soon be the only place you can buy stuff from when all the little guys have been priced out of the market. (Debenhams, Top Shop, M&S next) The only employment in this country will be order pickers in Amazon warehouses and delivery drivers.

We don't even have to leave the house now we can order everything under the sun from our keyboard, and the lockdown is a practice run for the things to come. Electric motor cars will be so expensive most people won't be able to afford one, and unlike petrol and diesel, install a smart meter and they can shut off your power without a moment's notice and will think of a suitable excuse for doing so.

'AI' (artificial Intelligence) will complete the takeover by running your house for you, paying the bills and second guessing your every need. There will come a time when the powerful will think...'What do we need humans for anyway?' Surplus to requirement! and without them the planet will be a far better place...Just keep a few for amusement.
