This is a wee photo I took the other day - inspired by the wonderful bird pictures on here. I'm really pleased with this one - normally I don't get birds to pose so well for me! It wasn't with a zoom, hence so much background and a lot of cropping!

It doesn't matter that it isn't zoomed because the twigs on the bush & the bricks in the wall make an interesting photo.

You certainly have caught the bird's attention - looking directly into the lens

For a shot taken without a zoom lens Pixie, that is very good and should be something to be proud of.

As has already been said, it is what is in the frame that makes the picture.

Out of interest, what camera did you use?

Thanks for your comments everyone! I do tend to be a tad critical of myself, heh! PB - it was an Olympus Stylus 1. Its Mr P's old camera he gave to me because he upgraded to a posher one
