Re: Ski sticks?

I have often seen people walking carrying these sticks.

Although some places a baseball bat may be better.

Hi

They are recommended by the Physios for both Cardiac and Covid Rehab.

It is all about stability and muscle groups.

Re: Ski sticks?

Lots of people around here use walking poles they give stability particularly when walking along narrow paths on the hills.
I would like a pair but fear they might get tangled up with a dog lead and Chloe wouldn't like them.

They would be a bit big for her to play 'fetch' with them!

Ah - but - a baseball bat could be viewed as weapon, whereas these are an essential walking aid!

Interesting. I wonder if those I see are actually recovering from Covid in that case?

Re: Ski sticks?

I use a big wooden staff in the hills, my daughter does as well but she does Munroes. It's for balance.
