Hells Bells Omah, I was an apprentice trained qualified toolmaker and machinist and I only earn't £15,000 per annum...
They don't know they're born these days....

Sounds a bit steep for the decorating though, I know a bloke who'll do it a lot cheaper than that...

You're out of touch ..... when I was working in 1990 I wouldn't get out of bed for less than £30,000 (that's £70,000 today) and I wasn't qualified for anything ..... I was just a very experienced IT professional .....

There's others coming down the pike. The UNIX Epoch coming up in 2038 might be somewhat problematic in the case of 32 bit machines.

Maybe there will be no more UNIX machines by then (sob sob) but since I STILL make a bit of pin money faffing about with COBOL listings from time to time who can say?

£2,607,767.67
