My mother-in-law says 'Morribogs' when she means 'Morrisons'. I think it sounds silly.

I read an "Oor "Wullie" book when I was about 7 and came across the word "greet"

Its the Scottish word for crying, as in "Stop yer greeting, or I'll give ye somethin' to greet aboot"

I was really confused as to why everyone wanted to say hello when they were crying or upset!
