Re: Your Teeth.

My teeth are all my own but on the left side none have a matching tooth on the upper or lower side. This means I can only chew on the right hand side. This is OK until I lose a tooth on that side.

I do have what my kids call "English Teeth" at the front ie they are crooked - their teeth are perfect but only after I spent thousands of dollars each on an orthodontist!

If you are looking for specialist treatment or advice - search under Specialist Lists.

If a dentist is shown as "Under Supervision" - someone has made a complaint about them...........don't touch them!!!

I had some dental treatment a long while ago which turned out to be mismanaged and inadequate. I sued - and won - the dentist was put "under supervision" and barred from using that treatment again. Since then I've seen a Restorative Specialist - who is the most qualified dentist in the area and the best dentist I've ever come across. Very expensive - but probably best if you get a second opinion about your dental treatment than allow a run-of-the-mill dentist do an extraction!

Thanks for the advice..LL....periodontal disease, is a condition ,which can only be managed, I’ve had it since age 30...so am doing pretty well...I think they will see me out,( most of them), I am now starting to see the receding of gums ,more so in the last 2 yrs...

Bruise, I also can’t eat on my left side of mouth, due to a loose tooth, it really hurts to put pressure on it, different reasons to yours, I think I’m going to need a plate for that side.

Re: Your Teeth.

Yes Pauline, definately all mine, no gaps, a few fillings, and I don't go to the Dentist, i'm terrified of them, I clean my Teeth at least 4 times a day and mouthwash, I must take after my Mum, she had all her own teeth till the day she died at 95 years old.

Re: Your Teeth.

I can't wait for the dentists round here to reopen. I need 3 crowns replacing, a new crown for a broken tooth, and a new filling.

I would class that as an urgent case, Percy....would they not be open for that? Ours are up here (for urgent things, not routine check ups)

Re: Your Teeth.

They are all my own still but need attention. My dental plan starts next week when I will have one of the old boys removed along with my bank card.
