Emails from Amazon stating that your order cannot be shipped.It then directs you to a ligit looking"Amazon" page asking you for your name,address and bank card details to complete your order.I've had two of these emails recently but after I'd already received the goods I'd ordered.So clearly this is a scam.Can imagine some people falling for this.

I have only had one or two problem over several years and they were sorted out quickly and without any quibbling. In one case, when a mis-delivery later turned up after they had sent me a replacement, they just told me to keep both items!
However, it's always worth comparing prices with other outlets because very occasionally you'll find something a little cheaper than on Amazon.

My friend nearly got caught on one of those, Percy. The one where they tell you they have been unable to deliver your parcel.
* I had a scam phone call today, pretending to be from Amazon.
What sounded like a recorded voice said my Amazon account had been compromised. I hung up, then blocked the number.
The number was from: 03020 732 626.
I have just checked with Amazon and they told me my account is perfectly safe and they will look into this for me.
