I have never thought of it like that.
I come on for a natter, a laugh, a bit of company and a chat with my friends.
Never thought of that as anything to do with attention seeking though.

I came here seeking answers to unanswerable questions, not for attention, am quite prepared to talk to myself all night, in the absence of answers.
