Maybe we should have a general poetry thread for those who would like to have a go? I'd join in but I wouldn't want to be appraised because I know I'm not that good at them.

Ah, I have wrongly named eccles then (sorry eccles, I'd assumed you as it was you he 'shouted' at).

Thanks for the info Mags - I've never seen the Goons so the reference was lost on me!

I asked him yesterday why he was having a go at Joe, when Joe hadn't even been on the thread - he replied, because he was annoyed with him ....

Well, theres a new poem on the new thread - I know it doesn't run well but it's there anyway and describes what I can see and hear at the moment
