Brexit border delays??

Article in the Times today, EU offers to ease problems at borders
IF UK drops plans to create a low tax haven at UK ports ??
This, if true, indicates that the present border delays are being
created and are not related just to Brexit happening??
Seems they think they can still tell us what to do??

What did you expect? We’re rivals now not partners. Welcome to the world you voted for.

Yes.
Which means that the UK can do the same, as the EU are finding out with our refusal to recognise a union as a nation state.

We can do the same to the EU regarding border checks and paperwork; the UK said it would hold off checks for 6 months but nothing's stopping us from retaliation.
Oh and another thing: it's the EU consumer that is suffering too.
Ask the Spanish who now cannot make their national dish of Paella.

It was always the way. The EU have been found out (well, France and Scotland) and we aren't backing down.

It comes to something when their own MEP's point out the EU's democratic failures in the European Parliament, as here:

I think this article in today's Daily Fail also refers to this:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...mbassador.html

Ambassadors can only come from a recognised Sovereign state.
