Loading pages was so slow

I was pulling my hair out , ready to bin this computer, it was
so slow, so I pulled the cables out from the back of the router, waited and then put them back in....and that's when I noticed, the clear plastic bit on the end of the yellow cable was broken, luckily I had a new one , replaced it and it's fine now, I hate when computer misbehave, cos I know nothing about them

I've noticed web pages being slow for the past couple of days now. When I go to some news and tech web sites I noticed it took longer to display a page than it normally would

Yes it can, but for pages to be slow for the majority of people, a main internet hub would have to be affected and for weather to affect such a hub is very rare, not impossible just very rare.
