Forecasts are frequently wrong too Omah. For a start that 80k figure was discredited a couple of weeks ago. However, if you add the current (disputed) total of a bit under 42k to that, it's still 28k fewer than the 150k you're talking about. Did you borrow the Abbottamus's calculator?

There's no dispute about "the current (disputed) total of a bit under 42k" (a government-massaged figure) unless it's accepted only as a measure of recorded deaths from COVID-19 when the total number of "excess deaths" for the same period is in excess of 66,000.

That figure still includes deaths from other causes beside Covid 19. I haven't seen or heard anyone quote even an approximate death toll that EXCLUSIVELY relates to Covid 19.
