The very annoying thing though is that both your son and reg were right all along but it took a court case and long fighting to prove that what you was entitled to was correct all along but some dipstick working for the DWP decided otherwise, hence the lengthy battles to get justice. It should never ever be that way.

Re: My battle with DWP over P.I.P finally over.

I used the local government Benefit Appeals team.

They were fantastic and he was included in the telephone hearing.

He told me of one recent assessment where the assessor noted "The claimant was was confident, well kempt and maintained eye contact at all times"

This was in response to her "depression" claim.

Only problem with this was because of COVID19 assessments were conducted over the phone so how did she come to the conclusion, she never met her

Would probably make more sense if I knew what DWP and PIP is.

Re: My battle with DWP over P.I.P finally over.

I am pleased for you because I know of another friend who lost £300 a month . She is 64 and suffers with fibromyalgia, rheumatism and of late two very bad hips and hardly able to walk . Her hip replacement op postponed due to covid . They deemed her able to work. Believe me she is not able to .

Yet , I know of a young man of 30 , who receives the highest amount of disability , works for cash in hand , rides a motorbike , I've watched him dig gardens and decorate , etc and receives it every year. This young man most certainly could work.

Something is wrong somewhere
