Shiny new trade deal with USA?

Not according to Brexit poster boy Nigel...

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world...S-election-ont

I might just agree with him on this one.

Not so sure about the wisdom of a UK no deal right now?

Interesting to see how Bozo squirms and U turns with the EU until the end of the year.

Bets anyone?

Re: Shiny new trade deal with USA?

Who is really going to be surprised at one of Trumps buddies using the presidentials to hold Boris's feet against the fire a bit more as (we are being told) time is running short?
If it works & we leave without being beholden to the EU then great!

P.S.
You do know that Biden is very pro-CPTPP don't you?
And that the UK are well on their way to membership?

It's coming to something when stating an indesputable fact is called "racist" just because of a combination of bias and skin colour; nobody is similarly shouting "racist" for people the world over pointing out Biden's Irish heritage.
Hypocrites!

And all this rubbish about Biden's attitudes is worthless.
Just like Trump was hanstrung by the senate so will Biden be.
Where's the howls - especially from from Scots nats - about the Trump administration imposing tariffs on whisky and shortbread?

Watch this and learn:

Considering the EU just put $4 billion of tarrifs on the USA yesterday I think your talking utter rubbish.

As for Boris Johnson you should read the whole article instead of picking out bits and ignoring the content to suit your agenda.

Read the independent report on labours anti-semitism, you should focus on your own institutional racism and getting your facts right.

I tend to avoid the MSM, including Sky News and the BBC altogether.

Well said!

@ Reality1: stop rehashing old news. It's been done to death.
You're posting like a typical ScotNat, squirming and veering severely off-topic when you're losing the debate.
You started this thread.
It is about Biden & a UK trade deal.
Supposedly.
If you want to rant on about other stuff either start a thread or find a thread with your chosen subject as the topic.
Stick to the thread, not your bias.

Otherwise we might start showing Biden's liking for (ahem) younger females and other such nasties in response.

Has he? At what cost? A split in the party, that's what.

Ah, the bloke that a huge majority voted for in the last General Election you mean?
Oh that allegation really worried the electorate .... not.
Well it wouldn't.
It's rubbish and the electorate were sensible.
Unlike some others.

And again you're off-topic.

going well...... not

No wonder Amazon Studios Europe chose to keep their HQ in the UK after Brexit.
https://variety.com/2020/politics/gl...al-1234822184/

But yes, the examples so far are not exactly suggestive of the EU wanting to encourage a change in stance between them & the USA.
The above is however indicative of how much UK-USA trade matters.
