Get her out and Corbyn/Khan in and then the country can start to progress. I'm with you Uncle Joe, well and truly sick of the "nasty party".
The country progress under Corby/Khan?
My arse!
What planet are you and U.J. on?
You gotta be joking Woman!
The country would go to the dogs with them in charge, just as it has done during terms of past Loony Labour parties!

Not Corby .... no no that wouldn't do .. I said Corbyn and yes Khan, he's level headed, approachable, very human and ideal.

I know how precious the nasty party are to most of you on here but there are those who believe in socialism as they way forward.

Music to the ears. There are not too many like you on Wirral, are there InfamyInfamy ? (you could have made your name shorter )
Can't understand it really, when the Labour Council 'lends' £35 million to other councils and charges interest well below the base rate. More financial wizardry !! Just like selling off the UK gold when the price was rock bottom. Look at the price now !
Thing is, I don't even know why he sold it when he did because we were being told how wonderfully well the country was doing. It was almost 10yrs later the crash came.

""With many gold traders shorting, gold reached a low point of US$252.80 on 20 July. The UK eventually sold about 395 tons of gold over 17 auctions from July 1999 to March 2002, at an average price of about US$275 per ounce, raising approximately US$3.5 billion.""

Todays price (when we could have done with it)
$1,291.50 = $1000 more per ounce. How much would 395 tons have brought us now ?

Then they ended up with no money, but they hadn't told the country had they ??? I wonder what would have happened had they won the election in 2010. Might we have had austerity packages or would they have borrowed more to cover up the truth ?

It doesn't bare thinking about where we might be today had Labour been re-elected in 2010 , and some have very short memories.

Mrs May is better than anyone of the 'Corbyn's Leftys' and Rees-Mogg did say he wasn't interested in her job. It's all news lacking, media hype ,which UJ falls for every time.

Very good post PD.
Yes I remember Gordon Brown, that yellow belly little toe rag who sold our gold reserves on the cheap, and took away tax relief from company pension schemes.
Now just look at the mess THEY are in!

Here we are singing and dancing under the benevolent Tories, who are doing an absolutely wonderful job of running the Country.

Everyone goes on about GB selling the gold but in actual fact gold is a wildly fluctuating currency .
I don't know what he did with the funds thus raised but he didn't have a crystal ball and couldn't foresee that 12 years on gold would rise .
I'm not sure that keeping goldreserves makes any difference to anything anyway.
