Received our third Poll Card this year, for referendum on neighbourhood plan for the two villages. The developers are moving in and all available land is for housing.

A mix that was the 'carrot' the local council dangled to give planning permission. What is so annoying is that the original idea was 1,600 but now proposing 3,500.

The idea of affordable housing is being used to push through plans all over the country. The affordable housing is usually so expensive the people it's aimed at can't access it at all.

I'd be asking the price of each unit and pointing out the nmw many are on and see if that matches up. If it doesn't then it's not affordable and they are purely making money.
