Experienced many strange and wonderful things over the years. Younger, I struggled to understand it. Searched for and read all kinds of books that might hold the answer.

Finally found the answer that worked best for me. Found it in one of Terry Pratchett Discworld books. One character talking to another character about the shadows in his peripheral vision, “I find it best to ignore it and it usually goes away.” Magic! It worked.

Bluerose, I think that was excellent advice from Terry Pratchett. Many of the religions are opposed to people getting involved with spiritualism because it can be so dangerous. Those who dabble with such things as ouija boards and the like often find it addictive and compelling. The more they do it, the more they believe in it. Are there such 'entitiies' out there? Who knows...

Bluerose, it was the character Death. He always spoke in capital letters, and pops up in most the Discworld books.

Personally, I wouldn't touch those boards, they are certainly not toys and I happen to believe they can be dangerous in the wrong hands.

I agree...they are nothing whatsoever to do with true spiritualism.
