Before I retired some years ago people asked me what I would do with my time. Since I retired I found that time flies so quickly I don't know what
I do with it
My retired life enabled me to travel on short or long breaks, go to the
bingo whenever I wanted, do my Ancestry on line and chat away to people
when I didn't have time before.
Plus no alarm in my bedroom to get up and go. Only when I have a early
flight do I need the alarm. So to me being retired has been one of the
happiest times of my life and long may it continue.

I love being retired because I can spend all day with my dogs and doing my garden . Also I don't have to put up with difficult people at work !

but there is always a downside folks! - I enjoy all the things above but I feel I am now in another stream of life and perhaps out of the mainstream and feel that there is "us" and "them" and they treat us differently? I guess I still miss the "main stream"

Daiwai I never liked the 'main stream' preferring to walk my own solitary path .
I am happy to be a 'me' not an 'us' or 'them'
