There's 39 music channels on TV and not one Classical one. Radio must be the way to go.

Radio is a far better companion I find, than TV.
I usually have classicfm on in the background, swop to radio3 when I can't stand the adverts any longer.

We don't get the Met live operas on free to air TV here but our Arts cinema shows them and we go to those every now and again.

However, we do have two arts channels on satellite TV and they show opera and operatic concerts fairly regularly. Saw a lovely outdoor one the other week live from Munich with Kaufman and Netrebko.
