Barnier threatens to walk out of brexit talks if uk does'nt concede?
Hooray! its all over, just what we wanted!!
All the uncertainty is over, we can start to make arrangements to
Rearrange the fishing, take action on the migrants etc, etc!
I hope he does'nt backtrack again this is just what we needed!

I'm all with you donks. It is the only way to go. At least, if the UK is ever to learn its lesson and start behaving its size against the EU.

And don't forget, a trade deal can be negotiated in 2021, 2022, 2023, any time you want. The terms will be harsher for the UK, but hey, that's trade.

For instance, bread's opinion and mine couldn't be further apart, but both are consistent...... so where lies the problem?

Quite right. There's Mercedes, VW Group and BMW in Germany, the French car, wine and cheese makers, etc, Dutch, Belgian, German, French, Spanish, and now Irish, trawler men, Italian car makers, food producers, Irish food producers, Spanish food producers - I could go on - all shouting for a deal and, yet, Barnier is still not prepared to negotiate a meaningful trade deal.

It's no wonder Canada and Mercosur have back-tracked from the deals they were making with the EU. It's also no wonder that the EU has failed to negotiate one single ratifiable trade deal in all its existence.

It's time for M. Barnier to say, "Au revoir, Messieurs" and leave the negotiating arena. Frosty can switch the lights off.

Frost has the immense advantage he doesn't need lights on.
But, that's exactly what barnier is telling he will say: adieu. Therefore all the fuss in british news.
