Oh Dear....

It seems that the nomination of John Bercow from Corbyn's list of recommendations to a peerage has been rejected.

Please excuse me for a minute while I piss meself laughing.



That's better...

Two others from Corbyn's list have also been denied peerages,

Karie Murphy, who ran Labour's election campaign in 2019 (did a good job didn't she?) and is under investigation following the anti-Semitism investigation.

Also knocked on the head is John McDonnell

I had a feeling the the Berk wouldn't get a peerage and I'm super glad he hasn't been nominated.

Given that the Tories have given peerages to people whose sole contribution to the nation is donating to Tory Party funds, this seems a bit extreme.

Why? He damn near lost us BREXIT quite apart from everything else.
