So David Beckham's in trouble now, for using his mobile phone while driving his Bentley in London.

The police say that using a mobile phone is as dangerous as drink / drug driving so why is the punishment not the same?

To receive a one-year driving ban automatically if caught would soon see less of this kind of irresponsible driving and the accidents, injuries and deaths that result from it!

People like Beckham have the financial means to be chauffeur-driven around when banned. However, that would still put the message out there to others who are irresponsible and use their mobiles while driving.

You will lose your job if you cannot drive after being banned – tough, you should have thought of that first. No sympathies whatsoever for anyone who drives and uses a mobile when they could easily use a hands-free device!

Apparently a member of the public shopped him. Is that verified? Because I'd love to shop someone who I see doing this but I have no clue who they are or how to do it! There was a bad driver behind me a few weeks ago and I could see she was on her mobile. She was driving far too close to me. Easy to shop a celeb.

I can't understand why he hasn't got hands free same as my taxi driver son uses.
