All it has on it is Clarke International so it could have been made anywhere. However it is well built and good reviews which is why I went for this one .

Definately not a big commercial machine but one for the hobbiest/DIY person.
Yes been playing with it and manage in a block of wood to drill two holes at on each side and cross each other on the middle.
Never be able to do that before. Me stupid!!! but fun trying to see if I could
Just got to wait for a small vice to come to use with it and angle iron to be supports for the garden arch, if you followed my thread on that so far

Re: bench press drill

I have a pillar Drill in the Shed, the Shed is about to be deconstructed, so, it may end up in the garage.

Of course it's made in China, otherwise it would be about 50 years old. Chinese made stuff is largely ok quality these days.

Re: bench press drill

Used the Pillar Drill for the first time in years a couple of weeks ago to try to drill out a sheared bleed nipple, on one of the front callipers on my motorbike, didn't work, had to shell out £77.00 for a refurb, its due back today, you will find the drill very useful for the sort of stuff you get involved with.
