Hi

Brexit is a load of lies, we are not going to get what was promised.

It will hurt.

So what?

It was the right decision.

Nothing will ever persuade me that I was wrong to voting to Leave.

I am quite prepared to take the hit.

My Heart Attack will mean I am not earning Money from it.

So what?

I can cope with that.

It will cost me Money.

Not bothered.

What I will not have is Merkel opening up the Borders.

There is simply not enourth money in the World to allow that.

Out we go .

The "public" know a shambles when they see one .....

Even if we trusted a guardian opinion poll. it's likely to be quite a while before any kind of election.

Just smoke!

Keep going Boris, I've just done an opinion poll, of 3 people, and they all said the same.

Can you imagine what any of the other Parties would have put in place to handle recent issues?

I guess that they would have abandoned Brexit and concentrated on supporting the public through Corvid.

The mind Boggles.

Abbot's calculator might have helped...!

Damn, my spell checker keeps substituting "Guardian" for "Observer".

What's an "Opiniun Poll" Is it something to do with drugs?

Re: Labour climb 26 points to match Tories in opinion polls

Here's a poll from The Guardian, supplied by the Pew Centre:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...ntries-in-poll

UK's rating of its Covid-19 response lowest of 14 countries in poll

People in Britain have given a worse assessment of their country’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak than the electorates of 13 other leading democracies, according to international research.

Only 46% of the British population believe their country has done a good job handling coronavirus, the Pew Centre has found. By contrast, 71% of people in Sweden think their country has done a good job, and the figures rise to 86% in South Korea, 88% in Germany, 94% in Australia and 95% in Denmark.

In France, which has Europe’s third-highest official death toll after the UK and Italy, 59% think their country has done well.

The only other country rating itself as badly as the UK is the US, where 47% of voters think their country has done a good job. These are the only two in the poll where a majority believe their country has not handled the epidemic well.

The survey asked voters how they thought their country had handled the pandemic, rather than specifically asking voters to assess their government, but the findings will be seen as a reflection of leaders’ performances.

The poll, the first international comparative poll by Pew on the pandemic, suggests the disease has had a divisive effect on the sense of national unity in many of the countries surveyed.

A median of 46% of voters feel more national unity now than before the outbreak, while 48% think divisions have grown. The polarisation is greatest in the US: 77% of Americans say the country is more divided than before the pandemic, while just 18% believe the country is more united.
The UK's response record is dreadful, but the USA's is appalling and they're reflected in the poll .....

There comes a point when one wonders just what the objective is when someone just churns out the same thing on and on with no comment about it. For example what would they have set themselves as success criteria?

Take this awful Chinese Plague for example.

Different countries have adopted slightly different strategies and there have been different results.

But this horrid thing is a moveable feast on top of which different populations have different responded such as the refusal of Americans to use common sense or follow advice.

There's also the current civil disruption as a result of blacks and other off-whites who want to see the Republicans ground into the dust, that is a big factor and worryingly the same terrible sickness is growing here though it's Conservative party, supporters and values that are under attack.

But on top of the immorality of Socialists and their sick agenda we also face the problem of the useless and totally unnecessary Transition terms to be dealt with on top of which the terrible invasion by filth coming across the channel about we can do absolutely NOTHING is a huge distraction that must not be allowed to interfere with the most important matter, completion of BREXIT, hopefully with a no deal outcome.

BoJo could not do better than he is doing. Nobody could.

There is no point in just regurgitating third party opinions or facts and figures - it's boring and puerile. We KNOW what's happening and we are adult enough to understand what could or could not be done - at least most of us are.

With just a little bit of thought we can see what is happening, what the factors are and, unlike some, realise that those people responsible for how we go forward are doing surprisingly well when the rules under which they have to play are brought into the equation.

Here, here Todger

As for opinion polls, these are only as good as the questions asked. If you load the questions in any way, you'll get the answer you desire which is why I never ever enter any of them.
