Have you considered, if you have complained in the past, they might be doing it on purpose? I know our dustmen are a bit like that.

When I worked for Royal Mail I knew all the numbered houses off by heart, I even knew the names of the people who lived there. Trouble is these days is that you won't have a regular postman anymore. That's progress for you...

You should put a post with your property number & street name at the entrance to the drive. Make their job easier and they won't make mistakes.

it is not my number on the house the problem is they can't read the number on the parcel properly

I mean a gatepost on your driveway with the number of the house and name of the road. Something like this :

Unless you meant that companies are putting the wrong number of your letters?
