Perhaps your strong dislike of Mr. Tusk might stretch to a web site that can back up what is for now just rhetoric.

How come the WORLD WIDE financial crisis changed your mind?

Just Google up "Donald Tusk scandal" I'm sure you can find loads of info on "his Excellency," .... I'll leave you to make you mind up and give you the opportunity to change your mind.

And it wasn't a world wide financial crisis that's the name the guardian gave it to cover up Labour's disaster.

No web sites then???? but I will take your suggestion.

So it wasn't a world wide crisis then brought about by bankers from all over the world buying debt between each other and coming unstuck with the Leman Brothers. Don't remember them being in the labour cabinet.

Lack of regulation. Brown knew all about it but did nothing as chancellor then nothing as prime minister.

No excuse

Nothing to do with the EU

The German automotive industry undertakes continuous market research as do all car manufacturers. Like it or not there is fairly strong brand loyalty and they know that. They also know they’ve been caught out by the backlash against diesel and apart from s couple of BMWe and VW models they are behind other manufacturers in developing EV.
The banning of older diesel cars in some German cities has impacted on diesel sales as had the UK Government stance.
It’s part of the reason growth in Germany is stalling.
In light of the above whether there is a hard or soft Brexit may make little difference to the number of cars they would sell post Brexit until that is the fully embrace EV technology and do what they usually do

Branding and brand loyalty is paramount in any industry and is achieved by producing desirable products. Brexit doesn’t make them any less desirable only a little more expensive and unless the brand trades on being bargain basement then cost matters less

But they lied about their emissions and there's no electric or hybrid versions.

Isn’t deregulation one of the supposed benefits of Brexit?

Rees Mogg and his cronies certainly think so

No not when it comes to green issues.

We lead the way in battery technology and are the leading edge of car technology that's why most formula 1 teams have their development here. It's because we are brilliant at it

That’s exactly what I’m saying.

The car markets are changing in the UK and Germany.

Diesel cars are now difficult to sell and barring the BMW I3 & i8 and the VW e-Golf they only have their petrol models to rely on so they were always going to lose some market share.

The fact that most manufacturers lied about emissions is of no reverence to Brexit ably that the fallout has made diesels hard to sell on certain countries. jLR has already felt the effects of this
The German manufacturers are now diverting all resources to the development and production of electricity / hybrid cars and finding new markets for their existing diesel range

Your comment on lack of regulation was referring to the reasons for the financial crash, northing to do with green issues

You claimed it was lack of regulation that caused the financial crash yet one of the key mantra of Brexiteers is deregulation

You’re nothing but a fraud who is unable to offer reasoned argument and instead rely on subterfuge 😂😂😂😂😂🥵
