Admin rents server space for his various sites (there were 6 at one time) , the subscriptions help to pay for this as does any small amount he gets from Google Ads. If people use Add blockers he doesn't get anything and has to fund any shorfall himself.

Thanks Meg, I would subscribe to this forum even if the adds weren't blocked, I think it's the best thing since sliced bread and the pleasure I get out of it is priceless, long may it continue. Azz is a hero for putting up with us, and you and Mags of course....
